Scott Lansing moved to Portland in April to pursue a career in public relations. He began an internship with Grady Britton (GB), a full-service advertising and public relations agency. Some of GB’s clients include Rodda Paint Company, Hoyt Street Properties, Oregon Institute of Technology and First Independent Bank. His internship with GB is almost complete, and he is seeking a position with another Portland-area agency.
Regina Mitchell specialized in public relations with a minor in international studies from the University of Oregon. Originally from Eugene, she obtained her degree while working to finance her education. Her public relations experience includes various internships, including the Allen Hall Public Relations Group, the Public Relations Student Society of America and The Ulum Group. Mitchell intends on entering into international relations and development, whether it’s in the non-profit or government sector. She is excited at the prospect of maintaining and furthering positive relations on a global scale.
Allison Raney graduated from the University of Oregon in June with a degree in public relations and a minor in business administration. She was a PR intern at EMC Creative, a marketing and advertising firm in the Bay Area, where she wrote advertorials that appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle and Sacramento Bee. In addition, she co-directed six non-profit accounts and managed 30 student employees as the assistant firm director of internal communications of Allen Hall Public Relations. She just returned home from a month of traveling, and she is eager to start her PR career.
